About The Event

Harp Island 2022 is planned for March 11th-14th, 2022 at the Aspect Tamar Valley Resort. Due to international travel restrictions in 2021, our tutor, Ms Katryna Tan (http://www.katrynatan.com) was unable to join us and her visit was postponed. If travel between Singapore and Australia is permitted next March, she will join us for Harp Island 2022. If, however, this is not possible, the Harp Island weekend will be held in a format similar to this year’s Harp Island, with a variety of sessions and workshops.

Members of the Harp Society of Tasmania Inc. should have already received a flyer and registration form for Harp Island 2022. There are still some places available as at 14 July 2021, so if you have not registered, and would like to attend please complete the registration form and submit it with a deposit of $100.

Harp Island Cancellation and Refund Guidelines

1. Harp Island Deposit

To secure a place as a Harp Island participant, a non-refundable deposit is required. There are administrative costs incurred by the Harp Society of Tasmania (HST) for the event, which is budgeted for a specific number of participants. The participant’s deposit is therefore not refundable unless (1) their place can be taken by another person or (2) the event is cancelled and there is no financial penalty charged by the venue or (3) they are on a waiting list and no place becomes available.

2. Withdrawal from Harp Island after full payment due

The HST requires full payment six (6) weeks before Harp Island. If an individual wishes to withdraw after full payment is due, and there is no one to take their place, then that individual will owe the HST the fees that are not able to be offset, i.e. their portion of the administration and tutor’s costs. If the venue does not charge a financial penalty for cancellation of the accommodation (if booked) and the conference full-day delegate package, the individual will be entitled to a full refund of these costs. For any questions about Harp Island, please contact Judy Crees-Morris, Harp Island Coordinator by email at jac_morris@hotmail.com.
